At Taiga, we believe that sustainability isn’t a single action—it’s a continuous cycle. Our concrete tools for sustainable workplace design are the Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and the Taiga Cycle program. Together, they create a more transparent, circular, and responsible way to design and use workspaces.
We have already been offering third-party verified EPDs for our Lohko Box and Lohko Picea workspaces. These declarations give a detailed view of each product’s environmental impact; from material sourcing to end-of-life recycling. This transparency helps architects, designers, and clients to make more informed decisions based on facts, not claims.
Introducing the Taiga Cycle
The Taiga Cycle program is our take on circularity. It’s a simple but impactful way to extend the life of our products. After 36 months of use, customers can return eligible Taiga workspaces for up to 50% of their original value, depending on condition. These returned units are then refurbished and prepared for a new life in another space.
It’s a practical step toward reducing waste and supporting sustainable interiors—without compromising quality or flexibility. Read more >
Taiga Cycle: Built to evolve
Imagine this: three years have passed since you first installed your Taiga workspace. It’s served your team well—meetings held, focus regained, ideas born within its quiet walls. Now, your needs are shifting. Maybe your team has grown, your layout has changed, or you’re ready to upgrade to the latest model.
This is where Taiga Cycle steps in—not as an end, but as a new beginning.
Instead of dismantling something that still holds value, you return it. Taiga takes it back, verifies the condition, and rewards you with up to 50% of the original value. No long paperwork, no complicated logistics. We handle the disassembly, collection, and refurbishment, so you can focus on your next step forward.
The old workspace? It’s cleaned up, refreshed, and given a new life in a new space. It continues to serve, rather than sitting in storage or ending up in waste.
With Taiga Cycle, your workspace becomes a predictable, circular asset:
- You know what it costs.
- You know what it's worth at the end of its first lifecycle.
- You avoid disposal fees, reduce waste, and even offset the cost of your next upgrade.
For businesses working toward climate targets, Taiga Cycle offers a tangible sustainability action. You’re not just buying a product—you’re participating in a reuse model that aligns with responsible design and corporate values.
And because our workspaces are designed for multiple lifecycles, adapting to change is easy. Whether it’s a new office layout, a growing team, or a different location, your Taiga workspace is ready to evolve—again and again.
How do EPDs and Taiga Cycle work together?
EPDs help you understand your product’s environmental impact, from carbon emissions to materials used.
Taiga Cycle gives you a way to act on that knowledge by returning, reusing, and repurposing products to reduce your footprint.
It’s one thing to design beautiful workspaces, it’s another to make sure they serve more than one life. With EPD data and a circular buyback model, we’re making both possible.
Designed to last
Taiga workspaces are modular, repairable, and timeless by design. That means parts can be replaced, technology can be updated, and the entire structure can move or adapt as your needs change.
So even before the end of its first lifecycle, your Taiga product is already prepared for the next.
